MUTEK is an innovative project developed by students from the Department of Business and Public Administration and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The team has introduced a wall-mounted acoustic system that can either block external noise from entering a room or significantly reduce sound leakage from within. Additionally, the system can transform walls into high-quality speakers, providing users with an immersive audio experience for their favorite music.

MUTEK was awarded three scholarships to participate in the European Innovation Academy, taking place from July 16 to August 4, 2023, in Portugal. The project stands out for its ability to revolutionize soundproofing and audio technology, offering both noise control and a next-generation speaker system in one innovative solution.
